"Letters" (Member Content) are anonymous text posts that may contain hashtags and can be up to 300 characters in length.

2. Information We Collect

"Dear You," does not collect an email, password, or username from you. Instead, when the app is first launched you are assigned an identifier that is unique to that app instance. After a deletion and reinstallation of the app, you are assigned a new unique identifier. This unique identifier is used to authenticate deletions of Letters.

"Dear You," automatically collects the following information: IP address, device name, device model, and operating system.

Sharing of Information

Legal Process

We will disclose any information we have collected about you in order to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, or any other legal process. Although we do not collect your name or contact information, we will share your IP address or any other information we have collected about you or your device.
